Hello, weathership.

We are weathership.

The name is a compound. A weather ship was once a vessel stationed in open ocean for the express purpose of gathering atmospheric data: a floating instrument that turned uncertainty into signal so that the ships following behind could plan their crossing. Our work plays the same role for the systems we build alongside.

We are not a startup pivoting toward AI. We are not a research lab. We are an umbrella for a set of related engineering threads — hierarchical sequence models for enterprise data governance, terminal-first interfaces for graph-oriented domains, and an event-sourced actor system for distributed manufacturing. The projects predate the entity. The entity exists because the projects benefit from being held together.

We release as open source by default. The architectural decisions are written down. The trade-offs we made — and the ones we didn’t — are visible to anyone who wants to read them.

If you want to know what’s coming next, the projects page is the canonical list. If you want the mark, palette, and publication-ready assets, the media kit has them.

we who saw the deep.
